I am an experienced and Accredited Family Law Specialist. As a freelance family lawyer, I can help you grow your firm with ensuring your overflow of work completed in a timely manner, and provide consulting advice as the need arises. I work remotely so you don’t even need to find extra desk space in the office. 

I graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1981 and was admitted to practice in WA in 1982. I practiced in various firms in Perth, including Freehills, John Butler & Associates and John Butler & Stephen Crooks, until 1989 when I moved to Melbourne. In Melbourne I worked for Maurice Blackburn, including several years as partner. Later, I opened my own practice, Kelly & Associates Family Lawyers. After my return to Perth in 2017 I have worked remotely as a consultant for Kelly & McHale Family Lawyers in Melbourne.

I am a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Law Society of WA, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Family Law Practitioners Association of WA and AIFLAM. 

I have been an Accredited Family Law Specialist since 1992 and am a Nationally Accredited Mediator with AIFLAM.
